Due to a family medical emergency, Music Director Jaap van Zweden will be unavailable to conduct the New York Philharmonic’s performances at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center, October 14–16. He will be replaced by Giancarlo Guerrero in his New York Philharmonic debut. The program — featuring Clara Schumann’s Romance in A minor for solo piano, Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto, and Brahms’s Serenade No. 2, with piano soloist Alessio Bax in his Philharmonic debut — remains unchanged.
