Nashville Symphony extends contract with award-winning conductor

Giancarlo Guerrero won’t be taking his final bow with the Nashville Symphony any time soon.

Guerrero, the symphony’s music director, has signed a contract extension which will see him continuing to lead the group through the 2024-25 performance season. According to a news release, that will make him the second-longest-serving conductor in the group’s history. Guerrero joined the symphony in 2009.
